Keep in mind, these aren’t the official reviews of the film

James Cameron's first reaction to the cinematic phenomenon of a generation's Avatar: The Way of Water is officially in

Those who have been holding their breath in anticipation can now heave a sigh of relief

Rolling out its blue carpet in London for world premiere, The Way of Water dazzles attendees with a visual feast

called the sequel "beautiful," "stunning," and above all, "immersive."

The 2009 incarnation scored an 82 percent freshness score on Rotten Tomatoes with the Certified Fresh badge of honor.

If The Way of Water hits a similar mark, it's safe to say that Cameron has indeed managed to pull off another hit.

Of course, having a movie with a positive review is completely different from scoring box office numbers.

Cameron himself has said that the sequel needs to gross over $2 billion just to turn a profit.

The film will surely sell an unprecedented amount of 3-D tickets which will undoubtedly help the film reach those numbers.

After 13 years, Avatar: The Way of Water will officially hit the theaters worldwide on December 16, 2022.
